Tarot for Support & Clarity
How to use tarot as a guide to life?
First things first, tarot should be used as a guide and not as gospel. Tarot readings are great companions, added data when making decisions, and serve as a mirror to your current energies. Consult the Tarot cards when you have questions you'd like a bit of help on. It's especially beneficial if your mind is racing and you're over-thinking things. Tarot readings have a way of grounding you back to yourself.
How to ask the right questions for your tarot reading?
As they say, ask and you shall receive. To truly make the most of your readings, you have to know how to ask the right questions. The way I do tarot is never fortune-telling. That kind of reading feels fanciful and fatalistic. On that note, your questions would always have to bring the power back to you. Instead of asking, "Will I get that promotion I asked for?" ask this instead: "What can I do to get promoted?" or even "What's stopping me from getting promoted?"
When we work together on your tarot reading, we'll discuss what's on your mind and find the right question to ask. I will be working with you to refine it. Soon, and with practice, you'll get the hang of it.
How to incorporate tarot in your yearly planning?
I love Susannah Conway's Unravel Your Year workbooks. I have been doing them since 2014 and serve as a wonderful ceremony to recollect the year that passed and to set more intention for the year ahead.
Aside from doing similar workbooks, it's also great to incorporate tarot in these yearly planning and intention-setting events. I like to do New Year readings; these are at the beginning of a calendar year or your own personal new year a.k.a. your birthday!
What makes these so very special, is that tarot helps add a layer to your intentions and is an excellent tool in visualising the energies surrounding the next twelve months of your life.
Think about what kind of reading you'd like based on your needs, and how tarot can help.
